This day is focused upon using the outdoor environment to support the primary mathematics curriculum. It is a practical day where participants have the opportunity to try out and discuss a range of maths activities in the outdoors. We are aiming to help teachers expand their current level of teaching maths outdoors thereby opening up exciting and stimulating lessons for primary age children back at school. The day will end with plenty of signposting to additional activities, resources and ideas so that motivation can be maintained upon return to school.
